AMES Learning Portfolio

As part of your graduation requirements you have the opportunity to create a grade level portfolio.  Your portfolio is your opportunity to “show your stuff” and create a document that represents your history as a high school learner and your growth and achievement in the SWAGs.  Forget the infamous school “permanent record” - your portfolio is a real permanent record that allows YOU to tell your story. You can add to Learning Portfolio each year and we encourage you to do so. Your portfolio can be a website. If you need help setting up your portfolio, please see instructions below:

1. Set up a website. There are many different free website builders you can use. Use any website builder you would like.
Here are some free website builders:
  • Weebly
  • WIX
  • WordPress
  • Website Builder
  • JIMDO

2. You can set up your portfolio however you would like as long as it has the following (click on the checklist for your grade):
  • Freshman Year
  • Sophomore Portfolio Checklist
