Make sure classes meet core graduation requirements
Begin planning classes for next year
Provide information about PLATO/Summer School and other credit retrevail options
Transcript Update
Check for incompletes and missing grades
Make sure all credits are listed on the transcript
Interests/Aptitudes
Identify and explore major areas of interest
Take classes related to interests
Find out what type of post high school training is required for areas of interest
Set annual goals
Post High School Choices
Attend the annual College Tour Day held in the fall
Explore the Utah Futures computer program
Look at options for post high school training: college, community college, technology training centers, military, apprenticeship, etc.
Discuss costs of training programs with parents.
College Start exploring colleges and college majors and contact colleges for information
Use college and university home page websites on the internet
Learn about financial aid for college
Attend campus tours and Scholarship Days at the colleges and universities in the fall

Keep the Electronic SEOP updated. The information you provide can help you with other high school requirements. You will also develop your resume from this program.
Suggested High School Courses for Admission to College English (4 years), Math (3 years including Algebra II), Science (3 years, e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Foreign Language (2 years required for the University of Utah), Social Studies (3 years)
Additional: Humanities, fine arts, core electives, computer classes
